Civilized violence takes many forms in the film: sports, war, politics, money, technology to name a few. The computer is remaking the world into its own image and likeness.   Watching Koyaanisqatsi it seems almost unfathomable that a sequel could be made without the visual story language getting repetitive. Yet Godfrey Reggio managed to find a new chapter and more story with this film.  Juxtaposing impoverished countries and the industrial world, he transitions from life being out of balance to showing the cost of progress
