I’ve never seen a movie fall so spectacularly short on everything it sets out to do. It feels like a carticature of itself. Where was it even supposed to go? What is the point it’s trying to make?
All choices feel worse than perfunctory - they are just frustatingly pointless. What I take out of Mickey 17: colonialism and specicism are fine as long as you kill the villainous villany villain who is clearly worse than everybody elae.Translated from by -
