I've been following Ariana's career as an actress and singer since she started on Nick. But I must confess that I was impressed by her ability to deliver a role like Glinda. The movie is amazing and definitely one of my new favorite musicals.
I don't need to comment on Cynthia Erivo's performance. It made me cry, smile, and feel everything her character felt throughout. Without a doubt, one of the best films I've seen recently.
