It's perfect!! Not only my favorite David Lynch (yea, I said it), but also maybe my favorite movie of all time. Every frame is perfect, the use of that freaking Chris Isaak song on the dark highway, Laaaura Deeern's dancing. It feels like I dream that I myself dreamt, like it gets at something in my own psyche. This whole world really is wild at heart and weird on top, huh?

I knew this movie was good, but just rewatched for the first time in over a decade and man, it's actually perfect. The themes hit even harder in 2025. "We accept the reality with which we're presented", ain't that the truth! brb going to log off the internet and exit the Truman Show...
