Watched this for Valentine’s Day and found myself smiling from ear to ear. While not to challenging of a movie or commentary on immigration like paddington 2, I found paddington Peru to be everything a children’s film should be. The visuals were creative and eye catching. Paddington was charming as can be. While most children’s films are clawing for your attention and approval, paddington is concerned with enjoying itself and creating this whimsical version of London and the rest of the world.

BOOBIES AND BLOOD! Yet I’m still left hungry :( The film is well shot and beautiful, but I felt like the color grading lacked contrast. This could be because of the bulb in the theater, but there were a few instances of beautiful lighting that make me think different. Ingrid Goes West 2017
Spooky film about the worst people imaginable. Something about Ingrid goes west has tickled my senses and I way that makes me want to talk to someone about this movie. I found the pacing to be a bit slow at times only to have such intensive whiplash when Ingrid does something absolutely horrific. That being said, there’s something deeply cathartic and troubling watching these rich white people treat eachother so horribly. Justice for Dan tho. I hope he gets to enjoy Batman in peace someday.
