  Finally, there's a Godzilla movie in which the human protagonist is actually interesting and has a satisfying story arc. And the movie dialogue isn't just a series of quips and jokes with exposition thrown in between. No, the characters play all of this straight. They're earnest. And it feels so good watching that.

  Hollywood can learn a lot from this little movie. I doubt they will…

  When I watched this film, I hadn't known about Elvis's and Priscilla's age gap, and that he pursued her when she was fourteen years old and he was in his early twenties. That's wild.
