  cannot wait for the gritty and dark final movie to this trilogy that’s being talked about, like what an amazing story they’ll have a chance to write. i know this movie got so much hate on it’s release but it’s a DAMN good movie and i’ll die on that hill

  for having two plots it was very captivating.

  the whole first half of the movie was a clean and compelling story, and everything in the second half was unexpected and amazing. ryan gosling gave such a raw performance and bradley cooper really pulled his weight as well. i would probably watch this again if it just wasn’t so long, BUT the length was necessary. the pacing was solid and it couldn’t have been any shorter. all in all 9.8/10, defo recommend
