  expected this to be quite light hearted given the memes about it but this is clearly about undiagnosed and untreated post partum, dealing with grief, and drug addiction.

  It was nice to see an interpretation of what it may be like to be gay in the 30’s (?). It’s never explicitly stated in the film but I feel that that’s the point, it makes it more emotional. This is a time of repression and yet here is this pair, entwined in each other yet separated by society.

  This was a great film, I loved seeing actual gay representation that wasn’t just hinted at but was actually there, it was great to see some deaf representation too. Truly a beautiful film.
