I initially quite enjoyed Love and Thunder upon first watching it, but reflecting on it really brought down my opinion of the film.
In short, this film is a series of poor storytelling decisions and narrative inconsistencies. Things happen because the plot needs them to happen, not because it makes sense.
- Jane Foster's motivation for picking up Mjölnir is her illness, which at the end of the day is a self-serving motivation. Isn't using the Hammer to serve oneself…
