It's a turn-your-brain-off, go-for-the-ride addition to the MCU. It's a lot of fun but it'll age terribly - jokes about Hugh Jackman's divorce are going to be near indecipherable in 5 years time, let alone 15.
There's a major issue in that as a character, Wolverine is so much more compelling (even for a comic book movie lead) than Deadpool ever has been or will be, so reducing him to a broken record endlessly telling Ryan Reynolds to 'shut up'…
