I adore this animation style so so much. In addition to that, the beautiful narration, tasteful music, and concise scenes made this a surprisingly enjoyable move to watch.
I was nervous before I watched it because of it's reputation, but I was immediately comforted by the amazing creation myth scene. I haven't finished yet, this show is very french and graphic but has an honestly really captivating drama after the horror scene of the first few episodes. They do rely a lot on the characters being bad at communicating which gets frustrating but they eventually seem to talk with one another.
I missed a few scenes and subtitles but it's kind of fun to try to figure out the mystery of who everyone is along with the characters.
