Walked out. We walked right the hell out on a scene that was obviously supposed to be something of a climax but turned out to be a parody of itself. There’s only one good scene when they show the decapitated girl’s head rotting on the side of the road covered in ants. I was glued to the screen at that moment and couldn’t bring myself to look away. I wanted to study every millimeter of that frame and what I was able to see in the 7 seconds or so it was shown was mortifying and beautiful. Screw this movie though.

The aliens can harness the secrets of the universe, travel innumerable distances across the cosmos, create a navigation system based on crop circles (hilarious by the way) yet doors built by an inferior race are the ultimate stumbling block. Plus, they’re allergic to water, the source of all life?! I was right for putting off watching this movie for so long. I should’ve put it off indefinitely. M. Night, please consult some 5th graders before you make another movie about aliens. Thanks, Bob!
