i think i like the book better but not by any crazy measure, this was great but i still hate the way we lose mrs. de winter after a certain point and it hurt to watch her be bullied and compared to rebecca the entire film and like i said, eventually lost. the movie makes my heart ache for her. and unrelated but judith anderson is gorgeous and i wish they did more to play up the sinister mrs danvers…
