There were some good parts to this one, but felt like it was trying to do a little too much at once. Too many characters that would seemingly randomly become important and then disappear or not make a difference in later parts (notably, Mickey 18). Honestly not sure how much of this was just a political statement, which I don't necessarily mind, but I was honestly more interested in the main plotline. Good movie artistically though, liked the style, and did not suffer from the 2-hour rule. Also some stuff was a little too creepy/gory for my liking.
This was better than I thought it would be. Nice to see Ian have a character redemption arc and there were some twists along the way that even caught me off-guard. The chipmunks voices are sooo annoying though I definitely don't think it felt that way when I was watching these when I was younger. Overall not the worst movie the 10-year-old I was watching could've chosen.

And Bruno Mars crushed it as the older brother -- never knew he was so good at acting as Indian characters. Well-told story with a sad, but feel-good-ish ending. Though to that point, I didn't like the whole "Guy gets the girl and the money" finish to…
