I was really liking this movie until Anthony started looking up the facts of the true story. The movie frames Woodruff as a hero for giving patients a cocktail of vitamins and medications that start to allow them to live their lives. In reality, the meds did nothing or were actively harmful. The movie also portrays the medical professionals as simply wanting to finish the drug trial with absolutely no concern over the health of the participants at all. There is already so much information about HIV and AIDS and misconstruing the facts to this degree is not only disrespectful, but actively harmful.
