  I enjoyed this rewatch way more than I expected to.
  My main critique still stands, which is that after America Ferrera's (who carried the movie btw) lovely speech, the movie still upholds the patriarchy. Because of Ken's fragile masculinity, he inflicts harm - whether with or without malicious intent, he creates the patriarchy, and his actions have genuine consequences on women and in general. But, he's a man, so he's forgiven immediately, needs to be comforted, and is even apologized…
