This is VERY GOOD…
I got MAJOR Resident Evil vibes from this and I really liked it.
Down in the Gorge reminds me of a Black Ops map, was also great to see the Whiplash and Queens Gambit easter egg.Overall this was a solid, original film that was a pleasure to watch. Anya Taylor Joy is unbelievably attractive and Miles Teller fits the role perfectly. Pretty snazzy soundtrack too!!
One star taken away, for that last scene of cheesy dialogue however…

Gorgeous. Life Changing. Stunningly Thought Provoking.
Although this came in 23-24’, this is the best film I’ve seen so far this year in 2025 and it’s gonna take something mega to change that. There’s so many layers to this film.
This is my favourite version of Saoirse Ronan. Nerdy, lover of all things nature and the outdoors. This is an academic's wet dream, a deep dive in the oceans, seals, seaweed, living simple, and carefree. The power of small town/island…

This film made me like the thought of having kids again until it ended.
I haven’t been properly taken with a film for a while, this got me. The little lines of narration throughout by the kid just sends you on a different vibe. So well written and Jacob Tremblay is a gem. Brie Larson, yeah? You can be Ma to me anytime love. The dynamic between both her and Jack is a dream.
This film fucked me up good man. I won’t be forgetting this one anytime soon, why haven’t I watched this before? Gorgeously done.
