This reminded me a lot of my viewing of Seven Samurai. I definitely liked it, but I thought I’d get more out of it. I like how dark and ominous it is. I really like Sydow’s character’s quest for life answers and getting nothing, even from Death. Still a disappointment to me.

Unintentionally revisiting a Best Picture winner. I just bought the 4K on Criterion, which I cannot recommend enough. The two discs are the two sides of the coin Chigurh uses bet on that shop owners life. It’s awesome. The movie is still flawless. Perfectly paced, perfect performances, and some of the best characters ever created. The standout being Chigur and Ed Tom Bell. Chigurh being the best personification of death I’ve seen. It’s crazy Javier…
