Maybe I'm sick of MCU movies at this point but I think their same formulaic plots and structure need to change. I don't blame Sam Raimi. I felt like the reason why I gave it 2 stars was because of Sam's influence in the movie, like all the parts that weren't completely sourced from the MCU approved plots. For example the comedy-horror parts, like when Black Bolt dies or Zombie Strange with demon cape or the Scarlet Witch jumpscares.

Great movie. They called it a detective movie which made me excited. We've seen the Nolen and Synder films which made Batman a beatemup beast with gadgets, but we never really got to see a movie of the World's Greatest Detective. Granted in this film, he still wasn't the World's Greatest Detective however from my understanding this isn't really an origin movie as much as it is Batman still learning his ways and has yet to reach his peak prowess.…

Hereditary was such a good movie so my mother and I were excited to see this movie in theatres.
With a runtime of 2+ hours, it felt like a chore literally sitting through this movie. The intro was scary but that's where the scares end. The Last Duel 2021
The duel had my bootyhole clinched the entire time.
It is a really good movie. It is like Tarantino but with an unreliable narrator for the first two acts. I wish the sequel trilogy for Star Wars had any of the amount of drama, stakes, story telling that this movie had. But if Star Wars had a duel like this movie had then I probably wouldn't be crying my manchild tears now.
Matt Damon, Kylo Ren, and Ben were great. But the actress for Marguerite stole the show.
