  Wes Craven really understands all slasher sequel tropes and plays around with them like little pieces on a Clue board. Love his subtle nod to the William Caste theater skeleton and Courtney Cox’ red hair streaks are too cunty.

  Now this 🤌 this is how you take a problematic source material and adapt it for a modern audience. This is how you do it. Fuck yeah. It took the French 60 years to do it, but they actually made an Asterix movie everyone can enjoy. Previous animation directors in this franchise didn’t have the eye for comedic timing like these two do (they also directed Mansion of the Gods).
