I thought this was a great film, I think I will have to re-watch this before I give my final rating because there is so much to unpack. There are many layers and themes involved. There is also a director's cut which some people prefer, and others think is inferior.
My initial impressions are very good, but I will not be surprised if a re-watch yields a greater appreciation, understanding and rating for this movie.

Re-watching this again has led me to rediscover the absolute brilliance of Wallace and Gromit. Each moment is painstakingly hand crafted. The shot selection is gorgeous and it really has some cinematic moments.
The ability that the animators have to convey emotion with a few lumps of clay is astounding.
