    “Everything happens to me.”

Gatsby’s character is very relatable in the way he romanticizes life, turning little nothings like the sound of rain against a window or foggy morning walks into something poetic. As someone who’s a sucker for jazz and vivid scenarios pulled right out of a daydream, this movie hits all the right notes for me.
