Captivating animation. Eclectic, fast, and super imaginative. Hard to predict and delightfully whimsical. I really enjoyed it, especially having no idea of what it could be about after a post martini audible to attend at PFS main theater. Clau refused to get butter on the popcorn, again.

Not Paul Rudd at his most charming, but he’s always got a little something to give

Campy, self referential, meta. This classic has been on my to-watch list for years and it did not disappoint. Perfectly captured the 90s aesthetic I find both comical and nostalgia inducing. To think this whole time I just assumed Courtney Cox was the protagonist as opposed to some controversy seeking tabloid journalist. I much prefer the role she actually played. Also what happened to Matthew Lillard? Hackers, Scream -- man was on a tear in the mid-90s. Extremely unlikable though, but I still need someone to explain his drop-off to me. Hate how his tongue was constantly out.

Ultimately saved by the twist in the last third of the movie. Joe Keery continues to be pretty likable. Themes of deception throughout the whole film. Overall, a decently fun watch.
