Manchester by the Sea 2016
I feel like I never knew what gut-wrenching actually meant before watching this movie. The acting is so raw that it evokes some sort of pain and trauma you would feel only in the actual shoes of Lee and Randi, and in the end you just feel sort of hollow. Beautiful movie though and definitely a must-watch, but only when in a good headspace.
