  Hadn’t watched this since its release date. It holds up but I feel like the John Wick movies are just better and more fun in this space. Still cool to watch Denzel wreck some Russian Mafia types while trying to wrap up some Hemingway.

  The Killer 2023

  I’ve watched this twice now. It’s not going to be for everyone but it’s a near-masterpiece for me. The mark of a truly wonderful film is how much I enjoy it on a rewatch and this really didn’t disappoint. 

  It shouts of a metaphor for movie making. Everything in its place. Intense preparation and the fight against complacency. 

  Great sound, one of the better action scenes ever put to film, and Fassbender just dominating the screen. It’s a staked year for movies but he’d get an Oscar nod from me if I were running things. Great film.

  Twister 1996

  I didn’t realize what a stacked cast this movie had. Such a 90s feel. Watched it prior to a view of Twisters and had a great time. RIP Bill Paxton and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
