Kingdom of the Apes carries momentum from the last entry, expanding on concepts by exploring them in new ways or touching on those yet unexplored by the other films. A technical mastery, the seven year gap between films is evident in every frame of the breathtaking visual effects that are seamlessly interwoven with gorgeous landscape shots. The story itself is a bit derivative of other tried and true adventure/revenge tales, even feeling a bit too close to the plot of the last film for comfort, but this is overshadowed by the endearing and interesting characters, amazing visuals, and thrilling chases and battles. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Meg 2: The Trench 2023
ive never had such a successful movie speed run. was on my phone on and off but left it running til minute 50, then skipped to 1 hour 15 minutes, and turned it off with like 15 or so minutes left. I am confident I saw all the shark parts though so i consider that the entire movie. the poster made me think the t rex would be in more of it, but it was only in the opening thirty seconds. there were some scenes that made me look up from my phone, so thats gotta count for something. i rate it 🦈🦈🦈 out of 🦈🦈🦈🦖🦖🦖
