  Metal as fuck. Very evidently the culmination of Eggers’ many fascinations up to this point…so much so that I’m really quite stumped where he might be going from here. The fact we have two of the horniest mainstream films of the year, both released into multiplexes on the same day brings me so much joy. Already dying to rewatch this one!

  Enjoyed Megan Park’s first feature The Fallout so hate to say My Old Ass left a lot to be desired. It’s a cutesy, sporadically amusing watch that uses a supernatural gimmick to mask its rather stale coming of age story — a time travel gimmick that is diverting for a time but when you peel that away you’re then left with much of nothing at all.
