  Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy 2025

  The most middle class film that ever filmed. The most unrealistic thing was Bridget getting a job so quickly after 4 years out of work. I wanted to hate this, but unfortunately I am not immune to Chiwetel Ejiofor playing a shockingly ripped teacher. I hated Roxster with a burning passion, but Daniel Cleaver could still get it 100x over, I love that slutty man. Bridget Jones movies are peak wine mum humour and you know what that’s okay.

  Men will go bouldering once and then they start doing unpaid advertising for Free Solo. Alex Honnold terrifies me and not in a good way, I felt sorry for his girlfriend!! He is intense to say the least. I would recommend The Dawn Wall or Valley Uprising for anyone looking for a great documentary about climbing that won’t have them pouring sweat while watching😌

  This was so tense and uncomfortable I felt like I was gonna either shit myself or cry the entire time💀this was a wonderful, terrifying insight into Laura Palmer’s last few days and also a wonderful depiction of the fallout that can take over your life as a victim of sexual abuse. Leland/Bob literally haunts me, he is so frightening. Sheryl Lee is a phenomenal actress and the music and lighting added so much to this film. Also, David Bowie was there for like 30 seconds.

  All I can say is he really committed to this bit, his nails had me gagging. I felt very sorry for lovely Sylvie, Joan Baez was a DIVA. I loved Bob and Johnnys bromance and I would have died for Pete Seeger. DIED I TELL YOU.
