  It was okay

  Dark comedy, pretty shock horror

  Will poulter and Jenna Ortega were fun-- but felt like a Netflix movie. The pacing was weird and despite it being under 2 hours, still felt myself asking "we have MORE to go?"

  And then the shark does a fucking 360° kickflip over the fucking tensity WITH LIKE, 1/3 OF THE MOVIE LEFT

  SISTER EASTON IS GREAT, BUT LIKE-- DUDE. "I fed her wolfsbane and nightshade." Why THE FUCK would I listen to you be a fucking nut?

  "Why don't we see if there's an escape?" Why THE FUCK would I listen to a word you say.

  Idk man, it was a lotta choices.

  Off screen stuff aside

  This film felt so all over the GD place.

  like, I found myself continuously asking "where's the tension?"

  -Time jump shows-- everyone doing pretty well. No slumming it

  - Emilia says "oh, I'm a good person now" -- with no pushback/reality check of "but Mantias had done some really shitty things. And also-- everyone just wants to fix their wrongs now? I thought cartels were supposed to be scary?"
