I decided to check out this 1978 Spanish Giallo because it was directed by León Klimovsky, who worked on some of Paul Naschy's best films.

It’s a solid film, though not exceptional. The direction is strong, the pacing is smooth, and the score is quite impressive. While the bloodshed isn’t excessive, there are enough bloody slashes to satisfy me.

What holds it back from being great is the twist. Within the first 10 minutes, the direction of the story becomes fairly obvious. I was hoping for a surprise, but it didn’t deliver.

Nonetheless, it’s worth a watch for fans of Spanish horror and Giallo alike.

This 80's sci-fi comedy from Eugenie Joseph (the finishing director of Spookies) is like a comedic version of 1998's Disturbing Behavior. It's not great and would be a hard one to recommend but I thought it had goofy likable charm that I couldn't help but like. I wish the alien on the cover art was shown more, though.

90's horror flick about a young man and his friends who visit an old shack in the middle of nowhere to investigate the mysteries of his past. He soon discovers his grandparents dabbled in black magic and demons start to take his friends one by one.

I saw this in my early teen's and fell in love with it. The cheesy acting, the gore and the demons all hit the spot for me and the film still entertains me. Like a mix mash of Evil Dead and Night of the Demons but with velveeta cheese poured on top.

I was a fan of the first film. It wasn't a perfect anthology film but it was a fun time and Art the Clown was a creepy and effective villain.

For the sequel Art the Clown is dropped and replaced with a lame villain called "The Trickster" The wrap around story is a retread of the original's wrap but nowhere near as fun.

Most of the stories have nothing to do with Halloween and are too short to make any…
