While occasionally ideologically simplistic Barbie is fun and intelligent cinema at its best. With some of the most outstanding set, costume, and makeup design that the industry has seen this century this film is not to be missed and will have you returning again and again
This movie is nothing short of a technical masterpiece. It is undoubtably one of, if not the most beautiful things put to film. It tells a simple story, but more effectively and with more nuance than its predecessor, and it does not let up for its entire run time.
I have not been engrossed and immersed in a film so fully before, and it will be a long time before it happens again.
Without sounding like a movie snob, this has to be experienced in IMAX 3D.
A wonderful star vehicle/Oscar bait piece with very little around it to make it truly stand out. Touching, heart felt, and sincere moments of a deeply beloved figure are what hold this film together, even if everything that surrounds it is paint by numbers at best and dull at worst.

How they managed to continue such a perfect lightning in a bottom film as Knives Out I’ll never know. The characters, story, motivation, humour all combine to make a hilarious, thrilling, exciting, and engaging film.
The first film I feel still holds a more timeless quality, but this grew and continued on with everything established in the first to make just about as perfect a sequel as is possible
