  its a movie made by robert eggers. if you're an egg-head like myself, you will love it and if you aren't there's still plenty to enjoy. only critique is that the final shot should have stayed on Wilem Defoe because he cooked.

  seeing anything in packed theater and a good crowd (of adults) was fun, but probably best served alone at home at night

  It’s caught between lynch and fincher so it ends up in a space where there’s zero style or substance aside from being well shot and a few interesting sequences. This genre of movie and story are the types I will usually enjoy for simply existing but it somehow ends being MID and even worse, French(Canadian).

  as a kid i didn't fw this one as much as others but as an adult it might be my favorite. starting with the kids going down to Hagrids before the execution until the end might be the best hour in any of the movies

  its also crazy the amount of pull these movies had, Gary Oldman used for 30 mins in 3 and 5 despite being one of the best actors of his generation makes me sad.

  i also think Dumbledore 1.0 is fantastic, but 2.0 brings a whole new dimension and is hilarious at times
