  Gee, this Delbert Grady fella is kinda ominous, I wonder what his thoughts on minorities ar- OH WOW.

  Nicholson's facial expressions and descent into madness is bar none but the nuanced take of Duvall's naively happy everything's gonna be alright, house wife stuck in a abusive marriage demeanor greatly captures the struggle many women went through at the time and still do. Quality sets, editing, shots, color palettes, suspense, tension, acting down to 5 year old Danny Lloyd tied together with a brilliant score and sound design.
