Crazy Wisdom: The Life and Times of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche 2011
Interesting doc. Released in 2011 but feels like it’s from 1996. From one angle you can view trungpa as a cult leader and an abusive alcoholic who took advantage of his students. From another angle, you can say that despite many of these things he shows a profound wisdom through the complex flaws. Some might say, a crazy wisdom. It’s a film to ruminate on for sure. Maybe I’ll look more into the guy.
