  2.6 avg Letterboxd rating?? First rating that truly negatively shocked me. I thought we were a proper community. A proper good movie loving community. I heard an NBA commentator say (not my own words or thoughts) that statistics are like bikinis: they show a lot but not everything. Sometimes the hidden intangibles carry a lot of weight/merit. In layman terms: fuck stats, that boy nice! This movie is not critically acclaimed, nor should it be, but it’s a damn near perfect movie. 3.5 absolute minimum. When did we start catering to the bourgeoisie??

  I saw some clips of it and it looked so bad it was funny particularly with over the top action scenes so I decided to watch it so we could all laugh at it and enjoy the action. It was funny at first, quickly humbled me and I was hooked for the whole 3 hours. Never slowed down, action was fucking amazing and it was a really beautiful and poetic movie.
