Complete laugh out loud trash and I love it. Never boring.

Makes the movement from stylish epic to melancholic memoir with ease. Full of charm, humour and depth; Sprawling and yet so precise. Very little filmmakers could pull off such consistency over 3 and a half hours - All hail Kingmaker Schoonmaker!
5 stars because my teeny criticisms (of which there are little) pale in comparison to how much I got out of this film.
(Disclaimer: I was very apprehensive beforehand; I have seen shamefully little Scorcese Gangster films, and I thought Wolf of Wall street was meh. Take from that what you will.)
