Urgh, it's not as good as people are saying. Without the theme and message it'd be ignored and forgotten, and for those desperate for that, there's better films out there.

What is this Justice Smith performance? I've never seen a role where he was decent and this continues that. Understand the character going through confusion but he just limps from scene to scene. The soliloquies he delivers are drawl and uninspired. They're melodramatic to the point it borders on satire.

Also, if this is what counts as horror these days, then I'm lost.

Pretty good adaptation that feels vivid and intense, backed by great performances led by Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand. Joel Coen's directing is visually stunning, backed by the excellent score and sound design casting a dramatic scope over a dreary and eerie landscape.

I feel some of the tension could have been increased towards the end of the second act, and especially in the third act. But otherwise - a big win.

Unwatchable. Boring. Poorly shot. Poorly directed. Poorly edited. Poorly scripted. Just a flat out terrible film.

Danny Glover is lost, Jack Black is beyond annoying, Mos Def is a dud.

I heard that if you can stick out the first 40 minutes than the movie is fantastic. But I struggled to meet the 40 and once they started remaking the movies, I saw no improvement so I was done.

    Terrible film.

Wow! This must be Scorcese's visions when he's on cocaine! This time he's tackling the mega rich of Wall Street. The more I think about it, the more I love this movie and its actors. The consequences are real and while the scenarios are outlandish and over the top, its the real fall of Leo's character from suave, highly intelligent businessman to a drug dependant, betrayed, blinded husband that is the real story here.

    While I still believe Hank's was…
