Hail, Caesar! is a mess.
In some respects, this would make absolute perfect sense. The film depicts a Hollywood studio “fixer” over the course of a few days—putting out fires and managing huge Hollywood personalities. It’s chaotic and unthankful, but someone has to do it. Over the course of the short time we spend with Josh Brolin’s character as the fixer, we’re dropped head first into the golden era of Hollywood.

Room exceeds in exactly what the premise offers- escaping a room.
While it starts off slowly, which maybe a turn off for some, Room does not hesitate to turn on the afterburners once it starts to get going. Through subtlety the audience is able to grasp some of the backstory of Joy (portrayed excellently by Brie Larson) and Jack (also portrayed excellently by Jacob Tremblay), until it all comes to a head after Jack’s fifth birthday.…
