I wish it'd spend more time developing the relationship between father and daughter and less with sort of a random kid learning to fish. Also, the music is way too cheesy. But the Henry Fonds and Katherine Hepburn sure elevate the picture and the scenery is beautifully, makes one sort of envious of those Yankees (not too much until you remember everything else).

Test for the West: Berlin 1962
A half-an-hour short film that premiered at Berlinale 1962 chronicling the Berlin situation after the end of the Second World War up to Kennedy's death. Sort of aimed at American audiences, it talks about the division on the city into the four occupation zones, the Berlin Blockade, the 1953 workers' uprising and the construction of the Berlin Wall, among some more run of the mill things in the daily life of Berliners, like going out to Ku'damm and so on.
