  i never knew that this one was on letterboxd but im now logging it to document that i spent six hours of today on this, immaculate use of free will. the joe wright adaptation is such a special movie to me, but this one is also SO great bc it absolutely nails all the gazing. i was kicking my feet the whole time.

  less angst and more fun than the first one, her and jacob have more sincere chemistry though she is stringing him along. also this household is team CHARLIE and will not accept any other answers. she does him so dirty throughout this series.. #1 bella hater

  okay yea i get it, this takes the ideas in the first one and ZOOOMS miles ahead as you finally get the opportunity to dig into the politics and the manipulation that is all hinted earlier. i definitely needed to watch them together in succession...this feels like THE movie of this generation that will inspire a whole new group of kids to become filmmakers. infinite rewatchability, each time you pick up something else. please denis, never stop making scifi fantasy…
