My Old Ass 2024
This one surprised me. I was as hopeful for an entertaining film; I didn’t not expect to be crying by the emotional wallop it brought. Feelings, laughs, beautiful scenery & good acting. Recommend.

Very classic in feel, reminded me a lot of W Wenders, Jim Jarmusch, and with its confusing era & backwater feel, of my time spent in Romania in 2003. Depressing and hopeful at the same time, grim but so tender.
