On the Count of Three 2021
I went through the whole movie seeing it as a Buddy Road-trip with themes of depression sprinkled in, until 30 seconds after the credits where I felt some sort of emotional semi truck hit me full force and I started pouring buckets of tears.
Don’t think I’ll be watching this movie ever again but it’s one that’s marked me like nothing else before.Translated from by -
Top Gun: Maverick 2022
Didn’t watch the 1986 movie, but still enjoyed this one. There are obvious nostalgia traps but that doesn’t take from the plot which is very well written and executed, as well as the Fighter Jett shots which are the magnum opus of this movie, those scenes are some of the best I’ve seen in any movie, so beautifully done, feeling the rush, the adrenaline and the stress of the pilots.
