Suspenseful with a brilliant performance by Ralph Fiennes. We feel the weight on his shoulders, sometimes with just the look on his face. Originally was going to rate it 8/10, but dwelling on the dialogue and certain plot points too long, you start to realize the movie is not as intellectual as it tries to appear. It's a good, albeit contrived, thriller.

I applaud the experimentation on narrative, but for me it felt a little disjointed. I recognize the purposeful, artistic choices, and the acting was great. It felt very down to earth and like glimpses of the past, as if spotty memories. So I liked the story but I guess I just didn't click witht the way it was told completely.

A lot of it doesn't make sense, but that's okay because it's not trying to be anything more than a dumb, fun blockbuster. And I enjoyed it for the most part.

More voyeuristic than scary, a solid experiment from Soderbergh, and the right amount of humanity to keep you invested.

For a brief time, I felt empathy for the most insufferable person on the planet.

A heartbreaking character study and beautiful film. However, the epilogue is not only unnecessary but actively contradicts the character arc in my opinion. If you think I'm wrong, I'm open to understanding why.
