Toxic fandom wins once again, with J.J. Abrams pretty much hitting the undo button on everything interesting about The Last Jedi. This feels like a whole new trilogy crammed within the space of a two hour movie. Absurd plotting, some nice eye candy, a couple of exciting scenes and a distinct lack of coherence and heart. Fun, but forgettable, which is kinda sad for the final chapter in the Skywalker saga. Rian Johnson got the last laugh...
