  1) 1997 is WAY too late for the "wacky scientist Rube Goldberg machines make breakfast during the opening credits" bit.
  2) A truly distressing amount of ass play
  3) The subplot of the professor's FULLY SENTIENT robot assistant who is secretly in love with him and creates her own child should either not be in the movie or it should be all the movie is about

  Gotta love the '90s.

  Terrifically stylish thriller-romance-comedy with some of the best onscreen chemistry you'll ever see between Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn, plus solid supporting work from Walter Matthau, George Kennedy, James Coburn, and Jacques Marin. Add a classy Maurice Binder title sequence and one of Harry Mancini's best scores and you have a true '60s classic.
