Syfy tv knows what they are doing and I thank them. No preamble, no 'subtle' build-up, just BAM! Monster time. Thank you!
Sure the “teens” and dad stuff was kinda hokey and awkward, but whatever…the folklore angle was actually not bad. That any of it is based on real stuff, I have no idea, but it worked here and gave the leprechaun a reason for doing what it was doing here.
This movie is fine. If you are a fan of low budget campy creature features ( I am one of these fans), you could watch this and be okay with it.
Honestly, way more fun than I expected. Forget Boggy Creek and the Six Million Dollar Man – this grumpy Squatch is top-tier. Gorgeous scenery and atmosphere, I swear I could smell the swamp (but, that might've just been my pugs). The leads were a bit cheesy, but their cryptid research and diner hangouts were exactly the vibe. Solid stuff here. Good work everybody!
It’s not a documentary, but documentary film makers should take note of this beautiful picture.
It feels so real.
You’re in the car with these kids. The dust and smoke gets in your eyes. You see a Spain you will not find in any postcard or cooking show.
Los Chunquitos, el Fari...some gas, that’s all you need for this fast ride.
