  Between Thief and Collateral, and titles like Heat and Manhunter in the intervening, Mann gets a lot of the same beats he really likes, but the characters and dialog are really tuned in especially compared to earlier titles. Every character is glossy, dialed in, and hyper competent on what they want to be and what their plan is for the camera. No one's an 'everyday guy', but thats not what these movies are about anyway.

  Very entertaining and thrilling if a bit silly at times. Competently done thriller about old guys looking anguished in a church. Wish democracy worked.

  A focused, well thought out cautionary fable about the powers of Glorp in our modern age. Portrait of Dorian Gray Suffering From Body Horror with some great packaging design thrown in. Everything is thoroughly nauseating. Great special effects!!
