The Substance 2024

The right word to describe this movie is “Gnarly.” The movie itself was so well done switching between 1st person and 3rd person views. The use of lighting and music was done exceptionally well. I love the way this director films too. There were a lot of in your face quick close up shots or slow moving camera closeups. Overall this movie was exceptional. The gore and subject matter will keep it from acclaim but god damn it was good.…

The film is uniquely Nic Cage. He gets to be himself in his true cinematic form: erratic, loud and overacting. And as I say this with “High Praise.” The movie as a whole was creepy and atmospheric with a tremendous score. Nic cage and Alicia Witt did a great job driving this movie. Infinity Pool 2023
This movie really caught me off guard I was expecting more of a body horror aspect. There was none. What you get an acid trip, full of WTF moments you will not forget. Skarsgaard and Mia Goth are both amazing in their own ways. I can’t tell you what makes me love this movie so much, but I still love nonetheless. Watch it you won’t be sorry.
