  The quintessential film of and the perfect finale to the Space Race Cinematic Universe. Adding to our ranks of heroes the great crew of Jim Lovell, Ken Mattingly, Jack Swigart, and Fred Haise, and finally giving Gene Kranz and mission control the starring role they deserve. Also features appearances of many SRCU staples like Deke Slayton, Pete Conrad, Neil Armstrong, and Buzz Aldrin.

  Couldn't ask for a better conclusion to the franchise. That concludes my marathon of the SRCU, best day I've had all year.

  Everyone gives Marvel credit for pioneering the concept of an interwoven cinematic universe, while in reality the underappreciated Space Race Cinematic Universe kicked off in 1983 with it's own Iron Man; The Right Stuff. This bold epic firmly establishes it's own ragtag team of superheroes, the Mercury 7.

  I'm marathoning the entire SRCU today because I can't afford therapy.
