Alien: Romulus 2024
Fun and scary. Great beginning. CGI gets wobbly. Hit and miss on mirroring Alien/Aliens stuff and scenes. Speaking of, the prerequisite last act was different enough to be wild and scary. Not quite sure yet, but this may have slid past Prometheus to the #3 spot of the franchise for me.

Dune: Part Two 2024
16 year-old me loves that a bad-ass adaption of the great book has finally been nailed. Not flawless, but this and Part 1 are instantly near the front of the pack of the best sci-fi movies. The third movie could cement this an even better trilogy than Star Wars or LOTR.
